I assumed it was towed for two reason, one was my car is hard to steal because it has a chip in the key that is required to start the car and second, 2 weeks ago there was a warning on my car saying it would be towed because the registration was out. I fixed the registration when I saw the notice (it was in my glove box I was procrastinating a little) and went about my business. When I called they told me it was due to a expired inspection, I informed them that the warning they put on my car said nothing about the inspection and threatened to call the police and a lawyer, the guy on the phone changed his tone really quickly and offered to bring it back. I have never heard of a story where someone beat the tow company. The Annoyed Man wrote:How did you convince them they had made a mistake? For what reason had they towed it?LikesShinyThings wrote:Wow. That would be a surprise.... walk out to the car and there it isn't. How did you know it was towed rather than stolen?

One of my daughters is terrified of ducks. She's 13 now and still afraid of them. Is that a classifiable phobia?USA1 wrote: ACK!! I'm horrified now.

Re: Trying something out
Probably. These days there's a phobia for everything. I saw on TV a person that is terrified of balloons. Something about being nervous of the sudden unexpected pop.terryg wrote:One of my daughters is terrified of ducks. She's 13 now and still afraid of them.
