I could not find this on the forum. Has anyone tried this "device" of a holster.

http://www.versacarry.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Look under "products" to see the holster.

...your cart is empty
...and gonna stay that way on this item...I think it'd make the gun ride way too high and afford no comfort from the rough edges of the weapon...

I prefer a holster that covers the trigger. This would not be for me.

It is different, that's for sure, and I'd have to give him credit for thinking outside the box, but I also like my trigger covered.

This is the very first warning on his website: "DO NOT use this product to carry any handgun with a live round in the chamber."

Kinda defeats the purpose of carrying if you ask me.

:iagree:

As I mainly carry a Glock 23, using this style of carry (can't really call it a holster) could turn on poorly for my right leg.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

I wouldn't touch one with a 50ft pole for the above mentioned reasons. Also, "re-holstering" would be next to impossible.

I see where they are going with this, if it did have a plate that was adjustable to guard the trigger it might be useable in a pinch... Re-holstering would be laughable at best. :lol::
