L1 Scheduling System is Down

The L1 system has been having problems since last Saturday and now is down statewide.

Received an email this morning that we were to go ahead and print everyone who came in, even though they would not be in the system. The problem with that is the MISC number, which identifies the fingerprint record and matches it up to your CHL application, will not be there. L1 says they will fix that on the back end.

I would highly suggest that, if you were planning on getting printed this week, that you wait until this problem is fixed. Otherwise, you may end up in fingerprint limbo, or have to make a return trip to get printed again.

you can go online to schedule, if this helps. did it yesterday. phone only is down.plus, if they answer, the twit hangs up on you. Got confirmation and all that is needed.

Buddy up at work says they're still having problems. Apparently he hasn't been able to register for fingerprints for over a week. He's a little

Don't know if this is related to their problems but anyone signing up for prints at the San Antonio NW site may get an incorrect link to show their location on the map. When my wife and I did that in early August the link showed the location a couple of miles outside 1604 at a residence. It is really inside 410 just off IH10. The people there knew about the problem but didn't seem concerned. Otherwise they were very helpful and professional.
