if anyone HAPPENS to have a glock 17L (with finger groves) lying around, an is lookin for a 1911, i have a para odnance ltc 1911 stainless, that is bassicaly new, i am willing to trade. i know its a far fetch, but worth a shot!

WOULD THIS BE A FAIR TRADE? ON BOTH PARTIES?

It would be a great deal for the guy with the Glock. Just the chance to get rid of one is wonderful. Just kidding. I love 1911's, but I don't know much about Para Odnance.

You made my day! There are 1911 fans all over shaking their head in disgust with you! Wise choice my friend. Best of luck in your search. You might try the 1911 forum if you have no luck here.

come on man! haha my new years resolution is to slowly collect every newer glock model made. only have the 21 an 26 so im still pretty far off. i dont know much about the para ordnances either to be honest with ya. me an dad both won a lil money goin through new orleans an both descided to get 1911's. i got the first one i saw of course...he waited, and got a good deal on a kimber raptor 2. the 1911's are just not for me. not sure why, just one of those deals i guess

A 17L isn't very common. It may be tough to find one at all, let alone finding one who's owner wants to trade.
It's a fair trade if both parties walk away happy regardless of actually monetary values.

Good luck.

Stevie-
He already had a chance to put me over his knee and he let me make it with only a smile. I am glad he takes a joke!

That really is a very nice looking pistol!
