What is it exactly that you think you started? The reports regarding this range have been going on for years and easily discussed in at least a dozen different threads.

I have not received any of their ire, but I have witnessed some of a medium nature. Thankfully, due to a forum outing, I have discovered the Elm Fork Range. It is closer and the RO's are the best I've encountered. Except for inclement weather times, when I'll visit Bass Pro's range, I have used Elm Fork exclusively since learning of it.

Quail Creek is closer to my sister, but Elm Fork is the same distance for her that QC is for me. I made her come down to EF and they had a great time.

I was invited by a buddy to shoot with his co-workers and him today at QC. Overall, I had a postive experience. The ROs were low-key and created a good shooting environment. My RO was actually quite helpfull. I police all my brass and several times, he collected the cases with the manual rolling machine before I had a chance to pick them up. Half serious and half jokingly I made a jesture to him that I he was driving me crazy. He laughed, opened the machine, and invited me to collect them. I appreciated it.

The only gripe I do have concerns the military discount policy. As it stands now, it is only for active duty. I believe this needs to be changed to all military- Anything else sends mixed messages. I did my time, served honorably, and spent a good amount of time in the sand box.

I've discussed this before on another thread...I have not personally had any issues at Quail Creek. But, I can take a guess as to the one individual who may be the root cause. He is the only one I have witnessed snapping at folks. The rest have been pretty easy-going, and even helpful on a couple of minor things. Of course, the other thing I dislike about that range is their "NO FMJ RIFLE ROUNDS" rule...but that is a minor one. All in all, I've had a reasonable time there. But, I can understand that others have not and I respect their word on the matter.
