#1

Post by Rex B »

Heizer Defense has intro’d its first new product, a derringer-like hammerless pocket pistol they call “the world’s smallest and lightest .45 ACP conceal carry pistol on the market today.”Image

I don't know if I like the idea of all those holes in the barrels of a "pocket pistol", all I can think of is what might happen if I had to deploy from inside my pocket.

And there is no place to mount my laser.

I think I'll take a pass and wait for Mark 1 Mod 2.

I wouldn't worry about it. I expect this is nothing more than a belly gun.

Maybe so, but I want to be able to hit out to 21 feet in necessary circumstances, and that sight ain't going to make it. Just being prepared.

IMHO, even though it's a .45, this doesn't even make a decent BUG since it only has 2 rounds.

This makes a Buckmark Camper .22 with 10 + 1 look like a much better alternative. :-)

I wonder why they bothered to put a front sight on it?
The last train out of any station will not be filled with nice people.

Wow, it looks like you can only get 2-3 fingers on it. Yikes. No wonder its ported like that. Ouch. I bet they made it hold two shots only because any more than that makes grown men cry, or at least flinch like crazy.

...it's not a target pistol...for a last-chance lifesaver it'd hurt the other guy more than it'd hurt you...and that's what I'd buy it for...less recoil than a .357 in that style of pistol...more powerful than a .38...it has one purpose and, for that purpose, would prolly be effective...the hand could heal later... :thumbs2:

...and faster for the second shot...best delivered gasses and all by contact shot if possible...also might help shield the flash a bit...
