We just picked up the first part for my wife's (TLynnhughes here on the forum) rifle build; a Spike's Tactical stripped lower. Got it while we were at the gun show at GRB in Houston today. I've always wanted to do an AR build and mentioned it to my wife. Imagine my surprise when she asked me to build hers! We're gonna have fun with this one, and I know she will have a blast picking out all the parts she wants. I'll update this thread as the build progresses.

Just picked up my two PSA lowers. Wohooo consecutive serial numbers too!!! One is going to be for a longer distance 5.56 20" barrel etc. I think the other one is destined for a SBR 5.7. I love the 50 round mags.

Next up is a Spikes Tactical lower parts kit. We won't be using the trigger, hammer, disconnector, related springs or the pistolgrip from this kit as we have other parts in mind. We will probably go with a 4# Timney trigger assembly, single stage.

Hey, what's the make of the trigger guard you have on there?

The handle is a Magpul MIAD and the trigger guard is a Magpul Enhanced trigger guard.

I'm not even going to tell you how much I paid for all this, but let's say that a young guy needed some cash, and was eager to part with this setup for a ridiculously low price that made me go

I just ordered an ACE pistol buffer yesterday... and I'm taking a month off from work... guess I'm going to be building an AR pistol soon

Heck, I haven't even finished my M4gery yet, I still need a sling!
