GEe thanks, looks like Immelt is doing a bang up job! NOT!
What's the problem? GE is in business to turn a profit. I'm sure the shareholders will appreciate the decision, presuming it makes it easier to make profit, and therefore return greater value to the shareholders. Being based in this country it is becoming more and more difficult to make a profit. This is a business decision. I don't blame GE. The government is doing everything in its power to regulate businesses out of this country.

Been awfully quiet around here for a while... Where'd everybody go? The North Pole?

Work. Way too much work. Buried in it. Barely time to eat and sleep.
Either that or off lazing in the sun.

Hmmm... which to give up... sleep... well, then I get even nuttier. Not sure how well that would go over. Eating? There you go - lose weight the fast way. What's not to love?

Bingo! Many conservatives were pleased when companies moved operations out of California and into more pro-business states. By the same reasoning, when U.S. Federal regulations become too burdensome, it's good business sense to move operations to more pro-business countries.

It's simple economics. People do more of something when the reward increases. People do less of something when the penalty or cost increases. Stop punishing success and you'll get more of it. Stop rewarding failure and you'll get less of it.

Now if we could just convince our POTUS of that little economic factoid we'd be making progress. But I suspect it's too late to save him.

Ugh. I got an early "present" - just before bedtime last night, noticed the throat was sore. Hasn't gotten any better today. I sure hope it gets better fast. Would make it hard to enjoy a tasty Christmas dinner.

Echinacea...quick. It is an immune-boosting herb sold at any local pharmacy. I swear by it. Whenever I feel like something may be coming on, I start taking it. Have a very good track record with it...hope it helps. :txflag:
