Post by ScubaSigGuy »

When I logged on the to the DPS site today to check my status this is what I got:

No application or license/certificate active.

So, now I am worried. Has this happpend to anyone? I confirmed that they had recieved my packet last monday. Anyone that knows what is going on please advise. Thanks.

I believe it means it has not been entered into the DPS system yet.

So that's normal?

It went from: Packet sent to applicant to No application or license/certificate active.

I thought the next step would have been application recieved.

It can also mean that you clicked the Instructor login instead of the CHL Applicant Login (I did this a couple times while waiting for my license  )

I am glad you figured it out, but Mithras61 gets credit for that tidbit.

Hi,

I got the same error message and I did make sure to use the CHL application login.

DPS sent me the renewal reminder letter last October 2006 and it has the PIN number. I did not apply online instead I called the 1-800 number and they sent me the renewal application. With this method instead of applying online, can I still check the status online?

I sent in the package using certified mail and got the delivery confirmation on Tuesday Feb. 13th (one week ago)

Thank you in advance

Processing woes........

Post by 7GenTex »

Well my wife turned in her application via mail on 10/23/06 when I did as well. She did not EVER get a PIN via snail mail. Finally got a PIN via email on 2/06/07 - Yes, you read that right.

Still "Processing" for her........

I got mine after around 95 days........

She will have to renew by the time she gets it!
