I must apologize to you Mr. Speedsix. I just had a tiny little chuck at your expense. When I read Puma Guy's addendum my first thought was,"Ooooh. Puma Guy's gonna be in truuuuuuble!"

To both of you, I'm not far behind and already understand you point about being corrected. :cheers2:

"Really" that was my sentiment as well.

I’m not sure the guy I spoke with at the TABC knew what he was talking about, but that is what he said. At first he was like well do they serve alcohol? I said yes, and on your site they show to be blue as well as the license on the wall. He said it could be we were out of the blue signs at the time and we just gave them the red one. He was going to leave it at that. I asked well how I get them to post the correct sign he almost sighed and said I guess I will send someone over with the blue signs and have them change it.

I doubt that will happen.

Fortunately, I changed jobs and work at the Comptroller's office now. My disagreement with TABC management was the primary reason for the change.

Just as an observation........My wife works for State Government. She constantly works 50+ hours a week and take her job very seriously. She is giving the Texas tax payors a great return on thier investment in her. I understand that some government employees give others a bad name, but some good ones do exist. :txflag: :patriot:

Government employees are like lawyers... 99% of them give all the rest a bad name. ;-)

Call me jaded, but the percentage has got to be WAY higher than that, when it comes to government employees. I would guess that it is the other way around, 99% give 1% a bad name. :tiphat:

Very carefully, re-read what I wrote. "99% of them give all the rest (in other words 1%) a bad name." :tiphat:
