heh, thankfully it comes off with rubbing alcohol and water, learned my lesson though, glad it wasn't something that makes a louder bang. as requested i posted in the introduction thread.

I guess I am embarrased to say this...But I am kinda past the paintball "marker" phase in my life...

I got involved in a corporate "company" paintball day at one of these places, and some of us got bit by the "shoot yer boss in the ____" and get away with it bug years ago...

Well, I got past it...And have a Tippman .68 caliber "gun" (carbine) in used, but really good condition that I would let go for a pretty good price if anyone is interested...

It will come with a couple of "air bottles", some paintball marker holding/loader bins, and a load bearing vest for these items...

I know, it was a sickness...And I should have known better... :lol:

Oh, it has a special "aftermarket" barrel that helps reach out and touch someone in those situations where your antagonist is over 50-60 yards away from you...I have recorded many a head shot beyond that with this marker...

I'd rather give someone here a chance to get this if they are interested...

Is there any kind of legal repercussion for any of these home incidents? I'm just curious what would happen if you neighbors (in concern) called 911 and expressed that they'd heard gunfire. When a LEO shows up at your house and you explain the situation, can that get you in any kind of trouble?

Me? No ND yet, but as many of you (including my dad) seem to keep saying, it's not "if" you have an AD/ND/UD, but "when" you have one.

It's illegal to discharge a firearm in most cities, so, yeah. If it was in a condominium or townhouse, you could possibly be charged with deadly conduct, though I think that's a stretch.

I think the cops could come in without a warrant, too.

The worst ND I have ever had was when I almost killed my best friend.

I was 13 yr. old and my best friend lived several houses down from me.
We were playing one day when we came to his house.
We went inside, no one was home. He said, come in here, I want to show
you something. We went into his parents bedroom to a large dresser and
mirrow where he opened a drawer and took out a chrome revoler.

His father was the sheriff of the small town where we lived. He handed
the gun to me, not saying anything. Being a dumb kid, having no kind of
training on gun safety, I pointed the gun at his stomach. I didn't think
about him handing me a loaded gun. Maby he didn't know it was loaded.

Only God kept me from pulling the trigger. I pointed at his stomach and
then turned and looked at my self in the mirrow and pulled the trigger.
The bullet went through the mirrow, through the house and I guess into the
ground. We were so scaired we began crying and I ran home.

I don't know what happened but I never heard from the sheriff.
I had nightmares about that for years and I still think of it with a shutter.

What if I had killed my friend. Thank You Lord I didn't.

The only one that comes to mind was recent at a training class. We were practicing one hand shooting, weak side. I have a 1911 but the safety is not ambidextrous. So, I tried flipping it down with my trigger finger (finger off the trigger, right?) but my middle finger followed the trigger finger up and slipped into the trigger guard when I released the safety, setting off a round. The gun was pointed down range but I think it went over the berm.
I am going to put an ambi safety on that gun first chance I get. The grip safety was normal as well, not taped down as I see a lot of people do.
I believe there is safety in numbers..
numbers like: 9, .22, .38, .357, .45, .223, 5.56, 7.62, 6.5, .30-06...
