Just brought her home today. Ain't she purdy? Longtooth, you know you want one.

Here she is with her older evil cousin.

Very nice. That's about as good as it gets for pure, reliable firepower. They'll serve you well.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

Hmm.

I've heard that the 10mm "Baby Glocks" have ferocious recoil. The 10mm is a rather potent round, and firing it out of tupperware....

I think this posting just absolutely requires a range report!

Seriously, I'd be interested to know how badly it kicks (or doesn't), as .45 ACP and 10mm would be my two choices if I ever get a Glock for personal defense.

I'd love a 10mm 1911, but really don't have the wherewithal to pay for one/buy the parts to build one right now.

Should definitely be interesting, especially with the 'high test' 10mm ammo!

Very good choice. The G29 is like a compact car with a monster truck engine. You're going to love it.

Stop by http://www.10mmtalk.com and get all the 10mm info you can stand.

Thanks for the comments folks. I have yet to shoot her although i should be going to Bracken tomorrow and lobbing some down range at around 1200 fps :) I'll keep you posted and if i shoot straight enough i may even provide a picture of the target.

I had a G20 as my first handgun and i loved that thing. I put a Black Talon completely through a washing machine at about 30 feet with that gun.

Here is a great site for 10mm ammo. I have purchased quite a bit from them. I did put some stronger Wolff Springs (22 lb) in my G20 and G29 to shoot the hotter loads and they are great. The recoil is surprisingly not that bad.

As you can see, I also live in SA and am onlyabout 5 minutes from the Bracken range. My work hours are a little crazy but if you ever want to get togher and send some lead down range, give me a call. I will pm you with a phone number. If interested call.

Thanks for the invite. I'd like to do that sometime. I have never been to Bracken.
