I have what I feel are a lot of irrational wants. Lol.
I'm buying a moss in naggant.
An ar15
An ar15/22
Both decked out swat style
A 50 cal!
A cannon
30/30 lever action
357 lever action cariben.
An old black powder riffle. You know the one you can't hit the broad side of a barn with!
An oozzie.
A machine gun.
A grenade launcher.
I know most of y'all are thinking some of them are not irrational. But since I already have my riffle for hunting if and when I go, and I don't goto the outdoor range very often and don't have my own land to go shoot on, I feel they are kimda irrational wants.

Even though I did post in this thread, the more I think about it the more I am inclined to think that all of the wants/needs posted here are in fact quite rational.

The irrational thought in it all is from those who cannot understand our wants and needs.

The only reason that my list would be considered irrational would be due to the fact that they are either WAY out of my price range, or the gubment won't let me own it.

Whitworth Military Target Rifle, circa 1860. CSA sharpshooter style. With the period-correct side-mount scope, please.

Other than something large and full-auto that mounts on the roof of my truck?

I'd like one of those Marlin Guide Guns in .45-70 . . . for no particular reason except that I think they're cool.

Ted Nugent and Ozzy?

Did they ever settle that feud from 10 years ago?

Found another one to add to my list of "do wants"...

Suomi m31. The 9mm Finnish subjective gun that inspired the famous ppsh41 of soviet fame.

36 round box mags 50 round box and 71 round drums are available for a semi auto m31 that costs less than $500.

Why is it irrational? Because with a loaded 71 round drum, the m31 weights 15 LBS.

That's a lot of weight for a 9mm rifle.

But, 72 rounds of 9mm would be a pretty effective deterrent of, well....EVERYTHING!:

Steyr AUG

It's irrational because M4 with optics is a better gun but the AUG captured my imagination as a little boy and it would be cool to have one, even if it was destined to become a safe queen.
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

Compared to some of the other posts, this seems like a very rational choice.

I want anti-aircraft and anti-tank weapons too, but this is something I could actually get.
