I used to say that until my daughter started. I get pictures of grandkids that way. The youngest grandson will be 3 months old in a week.

I don't do those things to other people and I require the same of them.

The same holds true for myself and many of my extended family members(aunts, uncles, cousins...ect.). If it weren't for FB, I would be completely out of touch with many of them. I do very little posting of my own on FB, but I hop on there every now and again to get caught up on what the family is up to. They are spred out all over the country and FB has been the way all of them share pics of grand kids and ech other. Three years ago, I didn't know what FB was, much less use it for anything.

I don't know if this is a good deal or not as I don't buy much .45ACP. Per deals on gun-deals.com it's a less than any other JHP on the list list.
Ammoman - Federal Classic Pistol (Silver Box) .45 ACP 230 JHP $399/1000 including shipping.

Just picked up a couple of boxes of steel cased Tulammo .45ACP from my local Walmart for $15 +tax each.

Never tried steel cased before. I plan to use it for competition shooting where it is usually difficult to pick up my brass.

Freedom Munitions Brass Exchange Program

Have spent brass laying around and not a reloader? Freedom Munitions now has a brass exchange program. You can send in your spent brass and get credit towards your ammo purchase. Send in enough and you could pay for just about your whole order including shipping it you. Bottom Line, if for example you want to place an order for $1000 and send in $999 worth of brass you pay $1.

The USPS 12"x12"x 5 1/2" cost $15.45 to ship anywhere in US. The boxes are free at the post office and you only pay the shipping to send them the brass.The credit you get will go towards paying for your entire order.

Here are some samples of the brass credit program at the current brass price ($2.50/pound) less the $15.45 shipping for you paid:

Sample Weights at $2.50lb. less shipping cost

9mm=50lbs. or $109.55 order credit

45auto=40lbs. or $84.55 order credit

223=35lbs. or $72.50 order credit

Note: Only calibers sold by Freedom Munitions are accepted for credit and you can send mixed acceptable brass in the same box. Credit can not exceed your order total including shipping.

Thanks, Weldon.

Interesting concept. Kudos to Freedom Munitions for thinking outside the box and being the first to try this.

It certainly won't be an attractive proposition to folks who reload, but there are enough people who don't hand-load--and who do shoot enough--that this might work.

And a belated thanks for running http://gun-deals.com. It's a great source of unbiased information. I've been contributing info now and again since 2007.

Hey I thought the same thing. I saw a few guys make a comment to that effect. Mostly it's gotten a lot of positive attention. I think you're right though, if most people are like me they have a bunch of brass saved up with the intention of one maybe reloading. I gave it a thought but it was a fleeting thought. I'm too lazy, lol.

Thanks for the help at gun-deals. We can use all we can get. It benefits us all.

They will probably put the "qty in stock" on the day of the sale.

The Marshal turned me on to some 100 round boxes of Federal 230gr at Walmart on sale for $28. I was on my way there anyway to pick up something for dinner and found two boxes for $25.97 each. They followed me home.

He put it up that way with the "notify me" button so when he does stock it on the 24th you'll be notified if you've hit the notify me button.
