In other words, you want to start with the assumption that all males under the age of 25 are mentally ill unless proven otherwise? What about the people who will shop around for a psychiatrist until they find one who will say they're ok?

What about the secondary gun market? Will we make private gun sales subject to these conditions, also? Will we do away with private gun sales altogether?

Fox is by no means gun friendly. I offer Sheppard Smith as an example. Just about the only guy who speaks out in favor of gun rights at all on that channel is Huckabee. Yes, they lean right, but it is a very country club right.
Yeah. I was watching Fox News yesterday and they had some psychologist on who said "No normal person buys four or five guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition. Normal people just don't do that." This statement was not questioned and was responded to with a "Yeah". This was the first time I have ever yelled at Fox News and changed the channel.
Funny... That was what I just posted about a second before your post.
Obviously, you're not normal! :eek6

But then, if that were the standard, probably none of us on this forum would be normal.

I also saw where the 6,000 rounds of ammo he supposedly had in his apartment was termed "mind boggling" by the media. Let them come boggle their minds at my ammo stash.

"rlol" "rlol" "rlol"

Isn't that the truth!!! I was wondering why he only had 6000 rounds. My first thought was that he is a noob. I think I am pushing the 100,000 round mark. I bet I have more high capacity "clips" than he has ammo  ... But I lost count a few years back. "CLIPS" !!! Urgh!!! If they are going to try and demonize an inanimate object, the least they could do is get the name of the object right! :waiting:

:clapping: I'm still normal. I'm working my way towards abnormal, but I only just recently acquired an M4. I think my stock pile is only up to 500 rounds or so. I do have roughly 2-3 times that much .45ACP, so I'm a little closer to being a crazy .45 person. Oooh, but it is a Glock, so maybe there's mysterious multiplying factor for that and I already am abnormal.

My wife and I were watching at the same time and I started yelling "Liar" at the TV. I also turned it off, I was sick to my stomach to hear that crap.

Oddly enough, I have to agree with the shrink. No "normal" person would do those things. The problem is that the "normal" American citizen is a sheep. Whereas it's the sheepdogs that "buys four or five guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition".

Based on what we know, it's possible he got everything from Holder and Obama. Not directly from their hands, but at their direction. If it was part of Fast and Furious, it explains why Obama didn't want those documents to see the light of day. Continuing the coverup only makes sense if there's more to the plot than providing guns to Mexican drug gangs. For example if they have other plans like this in motion.
Yeah sure, in other new Bush was behind the 9/11 and anthrax attacks.
That sounds like something an Obama supporter would say to distract attention from the truth.

From where I sit, there's strong evidence Obama and Holder were willing to provide guns for gangs to murder innocent Mexicans, because they could use the crisis they manufactured to push their attack on the Bill of Rights. Orchestrating something like this for the same agenda would be totally in character for men like that.

I don't know if this has been posted before....I'm in a hurry. People said "lets ban .223/5.56 AR-15s. It's a military round"
Is the argument invalid if he changed the upper to a .308 or something more exotic? or an 7.62×39? 30.06 is a hunting round, but people still user M1 garands!

I think argument is invalid. Most non-mil cartridges were at some time in service. .303 brit anyone?

Contrary to published reports, the shooter was not armored up.

He wasn't wearing a "bullet proof" vest. He was wearing a Black Hawk Tactical Vest. Per 19:41 on this "48 Hours" show (they show the receipt for his gear): http://www.cbsnews.com/video/w...ewsLeadStoriesArea.0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It has been learned that he was wearing http://tacticalgear.com/blackhawk-urban-assault-vest" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

An armed patron could have stopped this very quickly.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

JALLEN, that seems like a very big deal. The link isn't working for some reason, but it might be my computer, I've had problems with CBS's videos before. I'd love a screen cap/image of that receipt.

" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is what is working for me.

Look at about 19:40 into this program which is "48 Hours" on C-bull for the receipt from Tacticalgear.com for an assault vest Image for $106, a Blackhawk Omega triple pistol mag pouchImage, Blackhawk Omega M16 mag pouch Image and a knife Image.

Let's not misunderestimate this.

One factor is that for all anyone knew, this was part of the show, given the violence and action of modern movies. Wouldn't you like to empty your pistol into this "perp" only to find out this was all phony, Screen Actors Guild stuff, part of the premier?

Ever been to a Wild West Shoot out, where you knew it was part of the show? It would take awhile to figure out that this was not.

Charging and knocking off his balanced would have been enough to disarm him. However, no one was brave enough to take the lead.
