I can't. Metal detectors and random pat searches. But If it was legal to carry there I would and I would not tell my boss or anybody else at work about it.

Enjoy!

Negative... Written company policy says no. My building is part of the Galleria mall so it does ride to work with me. We were recently acquired by a company who has an outdated policy noting that they retain the right to search vehicles in parking lots... I think the policy was written to satisfy Homeland Security and prohibition on oil and gas infrastructure facilities.... It's just not applicable to a big city parking lot.

I do. I work for a good sized company but we don't have a weapons policy. Myself and the COO both have CHLs though so I don't see an anti carry policy being implemented anytime soon.

Always, sometimes when I'll sell scrap metal I'll carry 3 or 4(if you're familar with Dallas the place I sell is at Lamar and 45 and I sell $3k-$4k worth cash in pocket), I always carry 2, hey I've got two hands right?
The president of the company has his CHL, but never carries. I'm V.P. and don't really care who knows, majority of the guys there have known me 8-20 years so they know how I am. :fire

I heard rumors about a policy but officially I have not received notice so I carry.

Don't carry at work and can't leave it in my truck as both are illegal. Therefore; I am unarmed going to and from work at 3am. :grumble

Been self employed most of my life. The nicest part is that I hardly ever argue with myself and when I do, I always win! (if only it worked at home....)
Rarely CARRY at work, BUT...there's a pistol in a holster mounted in the kneewell of my desk...there's another in the top drawer of a filing cabinet with checkbooks and cash receipt books....and one in a holster mounted inside the door on the safe.

Yeppers. Glock 19 rides under my untucked shirt. Boss is glad I have it, and when I mentioned that the CHL would be handy when I'm leaving the building with deposits, the company paid for it. Makes me more comfortable leaving at 3 AM as well.

Every day with the written consent of my employer. It was a condition of my hire.

To explain, they had a no guns inside the building without written consent from the CEO in their policy manual. I was able to read this prior to accepting the job so I asked him for written consent and it was granted.

Wish I knew of my company policy prior to accepting the job. Probably would have only ticked them off and offered to someone else. :grumble
