Welcome Dr. Kyle! The waiting is tough but I believe it's easier early on when you know you still have time. After the 60 day mark it drives you crazy. At least it's driving me crazy!

I had something like that.

I forgot to sign the "Charge Authorization" or some nonsense like that.
Which was silly, since they had charged my CC 3 weeks before.

Don't sweat it.
Fax it in if you can, mail it in FOR SURE.

They had told me via phone that Faxing was no problem.
Until they called me 10 days later to tell me that it couldn't be faxed.
Then they called me back 2 hours later saying that they had received it in the mail. ;-)

OK so it was something stupid that I shouldn't have missed the first time let alone the double & triple check before closing the envelope!!!! QUESTION> Does my 60 days start over? probably is my guess...

At about the 55 day mark, DPS notified me that I had a document filled out wrong. I resubmitted it as fast as I could. After I mailed it back in, I had my CHL within 3 weeks.

I've heard that the longest part of the process is the background check. In my case, (and I assume in most cases), if you need to fix something or sign something, the background check goes on concurrently.

I wouldn't expect them to start the 60 day clock over for you, but legally, they can.

Day 65 from original send date to DPS... day 31 from missing info (initials on something) ... still processing application notice on site. I got my passport renewal already & I sent it out after the CHL!
