PSA Uppers

#1

Post by cyphur »

Anyone have one? They are on sale for under $300 sans bcg/ch. heck of a deal if you ask me. In no rush to receive it so even if it shows up in a month I am fine with that. Reviews online are favorable, this would be for a pinker/trunk gun/etc so more or less will never ask for more than MOA accuracy of it.

So- anyone have one - what do you think of quality, reliability, etc? Customer service impressions?

Thanks!

You might try looking here. I've bought a couple of complete uppers from them and have no complaints.

You can add to it at check out. Rails, up-grades, etc....

I bought a PSA rifle kit and built it on a spikes stripped lower. I think they sell a great product for the price. I will most definitely order from them again. I have not had one issue with mine at all.

Thanks, but I am specifically asking about PSA in this case. JSE looks like a good deal as well but it appears their 1/7 uppers are out of stock.

I have one of the uppers on sale. ITs the 16", CHF, midlength "lighter profile" upper, and I am VERY pleased with it. I just ordered 2 more for a friend. $299 is a hell of a deal for it. I paid $50 more and I felt it was a GREAT value at that price.

I got froggy and went with a 6.8SPC upper, the 18" SS416 bbl. First foray into 6.8SPC for me, should be fun! Now the wait begins as I piece together a full build around it. I am thinking of going Magpul in FDE....probably pick up a PSA lower in a month or so unless the Seekins gets in stock again.

I've used a couple of them, they are GTG - no issues, good fit/finish. The ones I've used had FN barrels, not sure if all their uppers use them or not.

At $405 this is a better deal. The BCG costs $125

ETA - This is better yet - $385 complete ready to shoot ($401.03 shipped to DFW)

They are tough to beat on some things. Right now I am fighting off the urge to buy a Seekins Precision lower from JoeBobs, I really only need a forged lower for my new and as-usual unplanned 6.8SPC build.

Their classic lower build kit with lpk and stock for $80 is also calling my name.....

My BRD is back and in full swing..... :banghead:

Not to nitpick but those are ATI Omni Polymer lowers. I saw those as well - the lowers they have for sale today are forged aluminum blems and are not on the daily deal list from what I was told...just on their website. That is why I posted it up here to give folks a heads up.....

Did not realize they were polymer.
$59.95 for aluminum is a good price.
