We won't hold it against you for being from Cass County. ;-)

Tote9 is in Bloomburg, and pistolchamp is in Texarkana (a couple of blocks into Arkansas). And I'm in Nash.

One of these days we'll have to try a NE Texas get-together.

Hey, count me in on that. I'm just over the border in Shreveport, and used to live in Texarkana!
I may need to lean on you for LA law information from time to time. I go to Shreveport fairly often.

It has been difficult finding shooting partners of late. Just me, the glock and the AR15 ;-) . Where do you usually go?

:

I haven't been to the range in 40 yrs. Doesn't mean I wont go.
It's just that I don't have to. I have target stands and targets
and when I get ready to shoot, I set them up in the back yard
and go to it.

I have a hill for a back stop, and no close neighbors. All spent
ammo stays on my property. I don't shoot nearly as much as
I would if I had someone to shoot with.

Welcome to the board Reven & pbandjelly.

Such a shame to have all those guns to choose from.
Why noy carry 2 or 3 one day and then carry another
2 or 3 the next.

Hey pbandjelly, I like that name. Was my favorite food
untill I became allergic to PB.

Good to have you both.

Still deciding what to carry. I have several guns (Glock 21, Ruger Speed Six 38 Special, Beretta Model 70 .32, Beretta Bobcat .22), but nothing really seems to fit the bill for CC, so I am in the decision making process on what to buy to carry. So many guns to choose from, so little cash.

This forum is great. It makes the waiting so much more fun.
Good to have another sysadmin in our ranks. :) Now the question is: UNIX or Windows?

Stumbled across this forum a few days ago and so far I like what I see. Lots of good threads with great information.

I live and work in the Dallas area and even though I'm in LE I've held a CHL since they were first available. One of my partners went through the very first CHL Instructor class that the DPS put on so naturally I was one of his first students. Better to practice on someone you know.

Again, glad to be here and I hope that I can add something positive to the group.

Hi y'all. I joined the forum about a week ago after a few days of snooping. Good forum.
So, here's the low down on me:
Live/work in the Ft. Hood area but travel around the country for business (big surprise there)
Age: 30
Engaged w/ 3 kids.
My CHL arrived while on my current trip and is patiently waiting my return, as is a brand new P3AT that will require some brake in before it can become a reliable BUG.
My primary is a Steyr M9 in a Galco MOB holster.
I like the Steyr but have fallen in love w/ every Kimber that I've had the pleasure to shoot, so I am currently trolling for an Ultra Carry.
Hope I can add some positive feedback to the forum.
Thanks.

I have an Ultra Carry 2 stainless. It is a wonderful weapon. It's the first Kimber I've owned and it won't be the last.

UCII

Post by trvlgnome »

I just found an UCII for a great price but I can't get the seller to answer the phone. Guess I may have to wait until I get back to TX.
I did check on the one longtooth posted but it was a little out of my price range.
Thanks for the info though LT.
