I completely understand and applaud them for pulling the ARs off the shelves from the stores nearby the tragedy. That seems totally reasonable and respectful. I don't quite get the national ban on the AR sales though. It seems right now is when a lot of people are going to want to buy one (before the ban hammer drops). They should get rid of their inventory before they get banned.
I wish car dealerships had enough respect to suspend sales after a drunk driver kills somebody with their assault vehicles.
:iagree:

Also, since the one of the top killers of folks in the US is heart disease I call for all grocery stores to pull salt, butter, etc. off the shelves, McDonalds to quit selling burgers and move to grilled chicken breast only, etc.

Maybe I will make a Facebook page for this?

Gun Maker's Stock Soars More Than 700% Since Obama's Inauguration in 2009 (@cnsnews)

an increase of 703 percent in less than four years.

But, Ruger isn't the only gun manufacturer that has seen an explosion in its stock value.

And then you have companies like Cheaper Than Dirt charging $60 for a $12 PMag. Also, I hear they suspended guns sales. They will never get another dime from me.

You guys are late to the party.

I began boycotting CTD when, several years back, they were charging as much as $85/box for .380.

That's because they're out-of-stock already.

Was in Cabelas-Allen yesterday. The gun counter was packed elbow to elbow 3-people deep. Must've had a hundred or more customers being helped by maybe a half-dozen (maybe a couple more) gun-sales clerks. Heard that on Saturday, they made everybody stand in a single-file line to be waited on. It's a poor time to give up on Bushmaster -- wish I had a piece of it!

From Bud's

We are sending this email to any and all customers who have placed an order on http://www.BudsGunShop.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; in the past month. Many of you have been customers of ours for years, have placed multiple orders with us, and therefore understand that any delays in shipping or customer service you may have experienced recently are not normal for Buds. The combination of a presidential election, extremely disturbing events in the media, and also the upcoming Christmas season has resulted in our complete inability to communicate with every customer attempting to contact us or ship orders as timely as we normally would.

We sincerely apologize for any delay you may have experienced, or might be experiencing right now. Please be advised that although we admittedly cannot respond to every phone call, email, or Live Chat at this time....we continue to process and ship orders normally and will contact you if there is any issue with your order. If your order status indicates "processing" or "shipping" for an extended period of time....there is NOTHING wrong with your order, that simply means we have everything we need to ship your order and we are simply busy shipping orders that were received prior to yours. If you do not hear from us otherwise, your order will be processed and shipped in the order in which it was received.

For any customer who purchased a firearm with guaranteed delivery prior to Christmas as indicated with this icon we do commit to have those firearms delivered to your FFL no later than December 23, as we do not want to assume your dealer will be open on December 24th, Christmas Eve. This obviously only applies to customers whose orders have not already shipped, and many others will be delivered prior to December 23rd, we are just referring to the very last of the Christmas orders received.

The firearms that were marked with this icon when purchased will only be shipped after every Christmas firearm has been shipped. We did our very best to advise everyone of possible 2-3 week shipping delays for these items via icons, banners, and pop up messages during the checkout process. Once again, many orders will be shipped in less than 2-3 weeks, we are just referring to the worst case scenario.

Again, we do apologize for our inability to provide everyone with the level of service you deserve during this extremely difficult time.

We do appreciate your business and the confidence you have placed in us by selecting http://www.BudsGunShop.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; as your firearm supplier.

We appreciate your patience,

Team Buds

Cheaper than Dirt's facebook page has this announcement:

"Cheaper than Dirt! has temporarily suspended online sales of firearms.

As a long time supporter of the Second Amendment, Chapter than Dirt! will continue to promote the safe and responsible use of firearms by law abiding customers. During this temporary suspension, we will review our policies and procedures."

Yeah, I won't be shopping there anymore.
