Favorite a problem arises Weapons?
What is a recommended a problem arises rifle? I'm looking for something cheap with readily available ammo. I'm leaning towards a Mosin Nagant. Same question for shotguns. I like Mossberg, but I'm undecided which model to get.

Well, they used to be cheap, but not anymore, but I would recommend an SKS. As for shotguns, yeah, I think Mossberg 500's are a great shotgun for the price.

I'm the only one in this forum fool enough - that I know of - to shoot himself with a Glock 40.

I imagine he used the "other" acronym (shorter version of stuff hitting the circularly spinning appliance) and the moderators changed it. I have used the other acronym before and had it altered to the exact same wording as above. Forum rules state not to use acronyms with meanings that include foul language.Andrew wrote:Or is this someone looking to discredit the board or posters, first post meaning veiled, nah I'm just paranoid. The Annoyed Man wrote:"Something arises" = TEOTWAWKIAndyC wrote:What do you want to do with it?

Re: Favorite a problem arises Weapons?
I see this kind of post a lot. Picking just one is too hard to do.
I intend to have all the following
1. Favorite sidearm
2. Folding Pistol caliber carbine in the same caliber and accepts the same magazines as above sidearm
3. 22 rifle
4. Shotgun
5. One of the following: AR/AK/308 rifle
I won't get into the logistics of carrying all of that, but there is more than one person in the family, so use your imagination.

There are two ways for posts to be altered. If your friendly, on the spot, moderator changes it - we change it to something that makes sense, and then send a warning to the user. If the automatic profanity filter changes it - well, sometimes it makes more sense than other times. This original post was not touched by a moderator.xb12s wrote:I imagine he used the "other" acronym (shorter version of stuff hitting the circularly spinning appliance) and the moderators changed it. Would English be a second language for the first time poster?Andrew wrote:Or is this someone looking to discredit the board or posters, first post meaning veiled, nah I'm just paranoid. The Annoyed Man wrote:"Something arises" = TEOTWAWKIAndyC wrote:What do you want to do with it?

Why are some picking this poster apart?
Answer his questions.
I had a bit of time trying to figure out what he wanted but eventually understood. Everyone does not have the ability to put down in writing what they are thinking. At least allow some leeway and let them eventually prove themselves out.
Goodness!
