Cooked 6 rounds of the Original Country. Shared three with Mrs. Doc V - by demand. :grumble
The three slices that I had were all in the 10 ring.

My wife bought some organic chocolate bar once..... that had bacon in it.

I Still don't know if it was a horrible concoction of two things that shouldn't be mixed together, or the best thing since sliced bread.

My Doctor and my wife insists that I eat more salads. I said if you serve it to me like this, I'd eat it every day/all day!

I had a bacon and chocolate chip cookie at a neighborhood coffee shop once. Would not buy again.
On the other hand, their bacon, cheddar and jalapeno kolaches

This reminds me that Mom used to make a salad where she fried up a bunch of Bacon. Broke it in bits and mixed some red apple cider vinegar, the bacon grease, and some sugar to make a dressing. She drizzled that on top of lettuce that had been topped with some soft boiled eggs. It was the only salad that Dad and I would eat.

I had a similar experience with a spinach and kale dish I was enticed into eating with the promise of bacon bits in it. They Lied! Fake red nodules that purported to be bacon bits, turning soggy and releasing the coloring into the green stuff. Hideous! As soon as I was able to leave the proximity of the porcelain throne I cooked up a pound of pure applewood smoked pepper rimmed ambrosia. I was cured!

The best thing that goes with bacon is ......

More bacon.
