Re: Bacon
Was at the Imperial Farmers Market this morning in Sugar Land. First time in a long time.
There's a vendor there "jolly Roger Gourmet Jams who had a Chocolate Banana BACON Jam. It was, well, interesting. I'm a huge Bacon fan, and it wasn't bad, but the texture was a bit odd.

yup thats correct.Dadtodabone wrote:Close, the Colorado Blvd. Tommy's was number 2. The original "Original Tommy's" was the "Shack" at Beverly and Rampart. My mom used to buy chili fries, bring them home and add fried eggs on top! She'd probably wind up in jail for child abuse in today's California. The Annoyed Man wrote:Aaaahhhhh! I remember Tommy's from when I was a kid. I think that the one I used to go to in Eagle Rock might be THE original Tommy Burger restaurant.
ive been to both.
i grew up not far from the one next to bush gardens in the valley.
to keep this on topic a chili burger from there with bacon would be the bomb

Re: Bacon
OK, I'm going to be giving this one it's own thread, but here is my son's groom's cake from his wedding three weeks ago. Yes, that is REAL thick-cut maple smoked bacon, on maple icing, over chocolate cake. It was delicious.
