Problem with applying for concealed carry licence
I'm filling out the application for my carry licence, and I'm at the part about your employment history, but there were a couple places I worked at a couple years ago, but I don't remember the dates, so what should I do?
Re: Problem with applying for concealed carry licence
I was in a similar situation. I used jobs on the app that I worked when I was a teenager and, regrettably, did not keep good record of. I used dates that to the best of my memory were close to the actual ones. I then simply typed a letter stating that some of the employment dates might not be %100 accurate; that I was sorry for the inconvenience and to contact me if anything was needed. I included this letter in the application packet when I mailed it off. My application did not get held up or delayed at all and it turned out to be a non issue for me. I hope this helps!

Ok, I tried emailing them about it, but I figured asking on one of the gun forums I was on would get me a quicker answer, and then they told me to ask on here.

I agree. At my age it wuld be impossible to remember the dates that I worked some 45 years ago. I cant even remember some of the places I lived back then. Just give an estimation along with a letter explaining and you should be fine.Mx217 wrote:I was in a similar situation. Just take a wild guess. I don't think anyone else remembers everything either. 45 years ago? I would not even worry about it. I could not even remember dates from 5 years ago. I took a guess. I got my license.

What, 45 years ago? If I recall correctly, I gave them the most recent 5 years.RPBrown wrote:I agree. At my age it wuld be impossible to remember the dates that I worked some 45 years ago. Just guesstimate. You'll be fine.

Does nobody keep their tax records anymore?
The city is not a concrete jungle. It is a human zoo.

I think it only asked for past 5 or 10 years.
