60 days and no CHL License

#1

Post by l3up »

Hello Everyone, I am new to the board. I have a question to you concerning the DPS has my CHL package since January 28th according to USPS priority mail delivery confirmation. I was assuming my CHL license would be in the mail box today. But no it was not. Is there a number I can call in Austin to check on the status for my license? Thanks for any help l3up

have you checked online status of your application?
have you received anything in the mail from them needing more information?

DPS is behind on processing due to the extreme increase in applicants. You may want to read this post http://texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=64642" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Congrats, glad to help

Also, note "mailed" does not mean dropped at the post office, it could mean "ready to be mailed" and at times people have seen "mailed" on their status, and it could take 5-10 days.
