3. *Update2-Monday June 17th, DPS online Status Updated to Manufacturing.
4. *Update3-Tuesday June 18th, DPS online Statues Updated to Mailed!

I talked to him about it over lunch the other day, he said he'd get working on it. Also, I had a little talk with him about some questionable play calling that's been going. Don't know if he'll listen though. They don't call him the "mad hatter" for nothing.

But seriously, I did meet him briefly during a public ESPN radio broadcast from Walk-ons restaurant in Baton Rouge back in 2007. He seems like a very approachable nice guy. I don't think he is quite comfortable with all the media attention. He says some very weird things when the spotlight is on him. Kinda like me, I often suffer from brain to mouth disconnect syndrome so I can sympathize.

As for a waiting for DPS to process plastic, in the words of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.....

DPS received my packet May 11, (The return receipt says the 13th) I just checked my status and everything is ready, they are doing the background check as of this morning. So, I'm looking at another 2 weeks maybe?

OK, it's been a few days, background check started June 3, it's now the 20th, and it still says "under review". No progress in 2 and 1/2 weeks. What gives?

I just checked, it's changed to manufacturing.
