5-11 Stocking Dealers in/around Dallas.

The 5-11 shirts with the inside pockets are real handy for traveling. A couple of Franklins, ID, USAA card, list of meds, and credit cards in one pocket and passport, DL, boarding pass, etc., in the other pocket would seem to get you through the day even if someone dipped into your wallet pocket.

Does anyone know of a full stocking dealer in/around DFW?

Supposedly the cotton canvas shirts can now be had with a lighter weight more breezy masterial.

On-line listings aren't much help as they list the closest dealer to DLS as either being in Kansas or Tulsa.

Is anyone aware of a 5-11 stocking dealer tolerably close to north Dallas?

Was in Academy (Vista Ridge) the other day and they had the 5-11 Tee shirts with 2 shoulder holster looking pockets.I think I have seen the 5-11 sport shirts at Bass Pro in Grapevine???????

+1 on GT Distributors. They have 5.11 CC and tactical apparel, boots, holsters, flashlights, training gear, etc.

Any and every police supply shop should carry them as well as most army surplus stores tend to stock them also. As another option the Massif Pilot Rock Polo has a single front mesh pocket in a polo shirt. You can sometimes find them at Cabelas but right now I believe LA Police Gear has them on sale for about half off.

From what I have noticed, the label is profilic but on the rack selections are kinda thin. Thats why I asked for a 'full stocking outlet'. GT seems to offer a larger selection.

Agreed on selections. Personally, GT distributors is the palce to buy, since they have everything in stock, and there's really no price difference between retaillers (Apparently 5.11 is one of those suppliers who dictates retail prices to their authorized dealers).

On the other hand, at the prices they charge, I've always been hesitant to "buy one to try one" unless I've had my hands on it!

Try the police supply on Elm street Downtown Dallas. They've changed their name, but they're still there...many moons ago it was called "Wall's Police Supply." I know that's a pretty vague description, but surely someone will remember and be able to give you a closer-in location for them. I'm pretty sure they would carry the 5.11 shirt line.

My Bride and I are about to take a boat ride that involves Passports, Boarding Pass, Tickets, Shot Records, and whatever seems needful at the time.

We will also be Head Wranglers for 4 Grandkids.

There is still enough kid in me to know that more accessable (to me) pockets are a good thing.
