The left continues to try to make this more than it is, to put self defense on trial. The President of the "National Urban League" says

"Everything else about this case is complicated by the issues of race, the unsuccessful attempt by Zimmerman’s defense to put Trayvon’s background on trial and Zimmerman’s claim of self-defense that is rooted in Florida’s questionable Stand-Your-Ground law."

and they continue to try to demonize targeted racial groups.

"It should also be noted that Zimmerman, a white Hispanic, was a particularly zealous neighborhood watch volunteer. In the months leading up to that fateful February day, he had made dozens of 911 calls. In a number of those calls, he reported spotting "suspicious" persons in the neighborhood, almost all of whom were black."

Is it going to be hard for Zimmerman to get a fair trial? And, if he does and wins, at what cost to civil unrest? Only thing we know for sure is this thing is a mess. "White Hispanic"? [in no way being negative about great, hardworking, family oriented Hispanics] I guess that is a Republican Hispanic....

All woman jury selected. Pundits are saying that is not a good thing for Zimmerman. I don't know. Many women don't like guns and will have empathy for the mother who will be in the court room every day. But women are concerned about their safety and probably will not have empathy for an "urban" dressing teenager, if they ever find out he was an "urban" dressing teenager.

The judge has not allowed the prosecution audio experts who say it is Trayvon screaming for help. Since the FBI already said that it was impossible to tell, this at least shortens the trial. As the defense would have eaten up a lot of time trying to disprove it.

Are you kidding me? You say that like he had planned on shooting him, when it was clear he didn't. He was attacked. Also, how did he ignore the dispatcher, or are you assuming he did? It appears you don't know the details, or get your info from unreliable sources. He followed all instructions from the dispatcher, and answered all questions, hence no arrest at the scene. What else are you assuming?

911 clearly made a suggestion to him not to follow Trayvon and put himself in danger. He ignored that suggestion.

The prosecution is laying out their case. They are trying to show that Zimmerman was a racist, a vigilante, and wanted the out come he got.

So far by his recorded under the breath comments, he is helping them with that story. At least he did not say the ""n" word, had he done that, he probably would be looking at a guilty verdict, regardless of the facts.

My comment was a note to self, not an indictment of Zimmerman.

This is really cold. The state has placed Zimmerman's parents on the witness list. The effect of this is that they cannot attend the trial, because witnesses are not allowed to be in the courtroom until they have testified. If the witnesses are never called to testify, then they are effectively barred from the courtroom for the duration of the trial.

Do you have any evidence to back hs up or are you just parroting the liberal media & race-baiters? Because so far, all the evidence shows that Zimmerman started going back to his vehicle.
