Sitting around talking about how scared you are is a comfort to the one's you think the least of . Just a thought .
It's not being "scared", it's recognizing that everything and anything posted can and will be used against you in a court of law. Why make it easier for those who bear you ill will? Do you or any other member of this board have an attorney handy to vet your posts? George Zimmerman had to endure the State of Florida defaming his participation in "Criminal Justice" studies and trolling through his school work trying to find instances where his opinion could be used to convict him of 2nd degree murder.

On this forum, I agree. IF you're involved in firearms incident, guarantee that your name will get googled. Every single post will be gone through.

Posting your real name here, you might as well add your name to a public CHL record list. I know that most of you are against CHL being public record. Why make it easy?

I have no illusion of privacy on the internet, but why make it so simple that a 7-year old can figure it out?
Just an hour ago, I had about a 30 minute conversation with two other guys. All three of us had the same first name....in the same church of about 1,300 people......in a town of about 50,000......in a metroplex of about 6.8 million....in a state of 26 million people. I'm not going to publish my address on this website, but I run my business out of my home. My address is out there. But I don't worry about my first name. It's not that uncommon.

Do all three of you live on streets with an upland game bird in the name? :biggrinjester:

Well my kids call me mama, my husband calls me sweetie, my mom calls me beloved, and when I was a child and my dad was mad at me he called me Christie Lynn.

You're, right, "The" is fairly common. ;-)

Nope. Just me. But like I said, my business address has been my home address for 5+ years now.

My real name is Keith, but my friends call me Keith. Can't tell you what my wife calls me most of the time because is violates forum rules.

Out and about, and even at work, I'm "Sarge". Depending on my level of success at doing right and making her happy, my wife sometimes calls me things that wouldn't break any of the forum rules.

My Mom calls me Christopher. My Dad and brothers call me Chris. Everyone else (including my wife) calls me Swanny.
