Thinking of getting a tattoo....

#1

Post by daniel2002p »

Well I may be thinking of getting my first one on my right outer arm... Since I have never really done anything like this (and yes i know it will hurt, somehow I will get over that fact) does anyone have any recommendations in the Irving or Dallas area for artists? I rather not be one of those that got a bad tattoo because the artist did not know what he was doing :).

Thanks in advance!

1)Treat firearms as if they are loaded. 2)Point the muzzle away from non-targets.
3)Keep fingers off the trigger until ready to shoot. 4)Be sure of your target and backstop.

If you're on Facebook, start searching there. Seems the easiest way to see their work through pictures uploaded by customers.

He didn't ask for your opinion. Why do you like guns?

As I didn't ask for yours.

It wasn't an opinion..........it was a question.

I wasn't trying to be demeaning about it (Tattos) I just have always wondered why.....but thanks anyhow.

And he asked a question, in a polite manner. I don't understand why so many members of a forum with people that should have above average communication and conflict resolution skills seem to jump directly to snide comments.

I have tattoos, although they were gotten at a much younger age and would answer the question without any perceived slight.

My suggestion is don't do it! I worked undercover narcotics and we did a lot of drugs for tattoo bust. I have more than I can count and thank God they are where I can at least hide them. Get one today and in 15 years it looks terrible.

Think twice.

:iagree: Carlson's right. Have you ever seen a box of melted crayons? Just wait....

FWIW, I don't have any tattoos and, "...I never picked cotton..." :leaving

I have several, some good and some not so good (working to get the not so good taken care of). I will not advertise for any one tattoo artist in public but if you PM me I can give you a name in the Irving area and also tell you who to stay away from.

Tramp stamps on 50 year old women are not a pretty sight.

Especially after they sag south a bit.
(Just go to the beach and look around :cryin )
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

I have never understood the whole tattoo thing. I always felt God did a decent design on us humans, and our adding decorations was silly.

Saying that, I do have two of my own. When prepping for prostate treatment, I had a little 'dot' added to each hip. This help the nurses align the three axis laser sighting system to where they need to turn the controls over to the computer aimed x-ray machine. It takes pictures from the bottom and the top, adjusts the table to where the rays are sent, as well as the power and duration of the beam.

As they were the size of a pin head, they have faded over the last five years. One more year (six) and I can be declared a cancer survivor.
If the 2nd admendment only applies to muskets and muzzle-loaders, then the 1st admentment must apply only to the spoken or printed word. Printing must be done on hand presses, news stories must be written in longhand, no keyboards or electric processes may be used.
