Eotech protective cover

Mine's called a Scope Coat. I google'd and found this link right away:

That will give you a good idea of what it is. I think I paid around $15 for the one I have...so you might look around a bit.

Forgive me for asking. What purpose is the cover, if you keep your rifle in a case? That Eotech is expensive and I do not want it ruined.

I found that one, there is a rubber one that goes around the whole sighting system that you do not take off. To protect it from scrapes and such.
