I have the Leatherman Blast (retired :cryin ) It has just what I need and not a lot more. Best thing about it is the lock-blade feature. All tools lock in place.

The Multitasker Model 3 is a tool that's designed to be an armorer's tool for the AR-15 and family of firearms, in addition to doing a lot of other odd jobs.

The Leatherman and Wave are designed to be Swiss Army Knives of multitools - doing a lot of odd jobs, but mastering none.

I was making a comparison to the OP. So, n5wd, what do you think of the Crucial Black Multitool? Thanks for mentioning the MM3, tho', I'd never heard of it.
I believe there is safety in numbers..
numbers like: 9, .22, .38, .357, .45, .223, 5.56, 7.62, 6.5, .30-06...

I carry a Leatherman Charge everyday. It has been great and I have worked it pretty hard but it is still in good shape. Most of my buddies carry Gerber. The Gerbers appear to be nice and seem to be fairly comparable to the leatherman as far as I can tell.

For $40 (Amazon.com) it looks like a handy little general purpose tool.
