Wait, What? You found 22lr in quantity?!!!!
Just bought 300rds of 9mm from the Grapevine Walmart yesterday...I've been peaking out my windows and listening for helicopters to see if the feds are aware of my plans to terrorize innocent paper for an afternoon
As an aside...has there ever been a study looking into the percentage of ammo used vs carried during a shooting rampage? They always find a "stockpile" of unfired ammo afterwards indicating that although they have ammo they rarely seem to shoot more than a small fraction of it. I point this out to anti's at work all the time.

In she/he said case, who is considered a proof if there is no witnesses or video/Audio recording?
Injuries
Of course we'll have to wait for the trial (assuming their is one) but haven't there been cases where women injured themselves to get their way in a domestic dispute? Not saying that GZ didn't lose it and act the fool in this case, just that we don't know for certain. Lots of bad stuff swirling around this whole thing.
Been here before. Remember the ticket out in Forney?
We may be gun friendly, but we still don't like it when you point them at people like he allegedly did to his girlfriend.

Yesterday, I was out picking up stuff for today and they had about 5-6 of the 550 round federal boxes. I brought three boxes home. I thought I'd try another store a few miles away, but not. The clerk said they got a bunch in Tuesday night, but it didn't make it to midnight. It's starting to pop up here and there.

Your lucky! I just rolled by dicks and of course they sold out their first hour..Unfortunately I had to work. This ammo crunch for 22 is really starting to irk my hide!
Not much of a stockpile if you ask me. My children each had this many in their closet growing up. I know some folks would be at odds with posting how many firearms they have accumulated and ammo they store but it would be interesting to see what the average is from forum members in Texas.
On the 100 rounds he had...some folks out there with double stacked magazines probably carry close to that on their person.

I only have one bullet my Uncle gave me when he retired.
Carry 24-7 or guess right.

I zeroed in on that report also, that was way funny. If they counted my ammo stash I would be thought of as a Tea Party right-wing extremest survivalist nut-job (that also clings to his guns, family and God.) BTW, still looking for more .22LR.

Living in north Dallas has it's advantages. There must be at least 20 Walmarts within 10 miles of my house and a couple more within 5 miles of work. I don't cruise Walmart looking for ammo like I did 8 months ago. Now, I only check if I'm there for something else and even then not always.
Daughter and I will go though 300-500 rounds in one range trip or match. These three boxes will probably only last us 3 or 4 months at the most. Less if I share with my BIL or friends at the range.
