Now that it's come from someone in the Legislature and not just me, the NRA or TSRA, I suspect OCT will still deny the fact.

Stickland needs to attend numerous courses on how to make friends and influence people. He is exactly the same as the OC radicals. I am amazed how none of them has an inkling of commonsense...

If you walk past a 30.06 sign you are already guilty even if you didn't see it. This amendment reduces the penalty for that. If you are subsequently receive notice (i.e. are told to leave because of your concealed gun or you obviously see the sign), then the penalty goes back up.

There is the chance to leave.
Ah, I thought that part was struck out?

Do you think this will this get through the Senate with the last amendment added?
I don't think there will be a problem because of the amendment. The overall feud between the House and Senate could be a problem, but probably not on this gun bill.

The amendment's author only mentioned 30.06, not open carry. So if HB910 passes with this amendment, 30.06 will still apply to CC, but with a somewhat lesser penalty, and no mention of how it applies to OC.
That's what I gathered. So if I followed that, 30.07 still has the Class A penalty but concealed carry gets the lesser penalty.

So I'm new to paying attention to bills, is this now sent to the Senate or does it have to be read a third time and voted on again before it goes?
