22 magnum

I am slowly seeing 22 LR at decent prices Academy/Gander but have not seen any 22 Mag in a long time. Am I missing it when they put it on the shelves or is it just not available anywhere, even online?

I have seen it at my local gun store as well as a brick and mortar cheaper than dirt in Round Rock.

I'm seeing it online. Palmetto State Armory had CCI .22WMR 40 Gr JHP $13.99 a few days ago, but they're out of stock now. I bought 500 rounds of Armscor 40Gr JHP @$14.99/50 rnd April 16 with free shipping. I've never shot their .22WMR, so I'll have to see if it's worth it. BTW Shipping for 500 rounds of CCI was only $8.50.

I haven't see any at big box stores for a long time. I did recently buy some from a local sporting goods store that seems to keep some in stock, but it felt expensive. If you really want some I'd suggest some smaller local businesses.

I stopped by the Academy on Edgebrook in Houston and they had .22 WMR CCI Maxi-Mag in stock.

I was finding .22 Mag long before I was finding .22 LR. Must be the weirdoes in my neck of the woods!:
