It's some wild speculation and guess on my part. I had a feeling we would see the next steps in movement on the gun bills when I saw this http://www.texastribune.org/2015/05/19/ ... versities/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; .

This is one our leader's big pet projects. Lots of money to be made from these projects. I have a feeling pro gun legislation is going to cost us more than I realized.

Timing is very curious.

Great news! :thumbs2:

Holy cow there are a lot of house bills scheduled for tomorrow. Are they planning on attending to all of those bills in one day?

How is the "regular order of business calendar" different from Senate Intent Calendar? Doesn't it need to be on the latter for floor vote?

Is there *any* word on whether SB11 is going to break out of calendars? There's literally one step left in the legislative process before it gets to the Governors desk.

ONE.

Lets move, people.

Campus Carry Faces Last Hurdle in Legislature
On Monday, state Rep. Larry Phillips, the chairman of the House Homeland Security and Public Safety Committee, expressed optimism that campus carry would make it to the floor on its own.

"Bringing the Senate bill up, it allows the members to have a full debate and discuss it so that something of that magnitude does not become law without being debated here," Phillips, R-Sherman, said of SB 11 on Monday. "I expect it to be here within the next few days."

I was reading some of the comments . Wow I guess my 5 years in Vietnam with 25th Aviation 25th Infantry and 11th Armored Cav., as well as 15 years a Deputy in Texas makes me a coward.....I have to recheck things...!

It's the last bill listed on page 15. Hope they get to it.
