SB11 & HB910 This week....

I hope everyone heard Sen. Ellis expressly state that he will filibuster HB910 if debate on Amendment 9 goes on long enough to make it possible to kill the Bill. There are reasons we do what we do and idiots who are either clueless or complicit in killing the Bill make me sick.

I don't think this whole circular firing squad has anything to do w. the merits of the amendment. It's just running out the clock.

Btw, if they can filibuster the bill by talking forever about the amendment, why can't they do the same for the bill itself? Is there some time limit on how long each Senator can talk about the bill itself?

If so, couldn't the Democrats still filibuster by talking forever about one of their own amendments?
