I was just about to post this same thing after seeing the story on the news. Obviously I voted "NO".

Also, I had vote number 156.

Nice to see Jim Dark as their "sample CHL".

Very simplistic reporting, though. Opinions about whether people "should be allowed" to carry guns to the fair are meaningless. I don't like how they made it sound like the TSF folks were just being benevolent towards CHLs, instead of explaining how they have no choice but to allow CHLs to carry there.

Cue Frankie.

Do they have that video online? I can not seem to find it on their website if they do.

EDIT: They are replaying the video on their 9:00 newscast.

I saw the video and thought I saw one of the gentlemen being wanded pull a badge out of his billfold rather than a CHL. I may be wrong as it was very quick but seems strange that they would put that on the air if they were trying to give this coverage a negative slant. I think they are just typical "news" people. As such they fall into the stereotype of reports and are mostly ignorant of the law and simply want to "create" news rather than report news.

By the way, I did vote (twice).

I've been in class all evening and just now voted. The way I interpret the current resluts is that 85 per cent answered that CHL folks should not be restricted.

Well, I am in that position. I think that you should[/b] be able to carry without a CHL. Call it a second amendment thing.
