I went out to eat with a girlfriend tonight. I wore a t-shirt (untucked) and a pair of jeans. I wore an IWB holster with my gun at the 1 o'clock position. No one knew I was carrying except my friend and dh.
Dh knew where I was wearing b/c he happened to be in the room when I was getting dressed. Although my girlfriend knew I was carrying, I doubt she knew exactly where I had it.
If you looked closely, you could see the butt of the gun sticking out from my t-shirt if I made certain movements to one side, but you probably wouldn't recognize it as a gun if you weren't looking for one.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas Edison

"DH" around my house= Dear/Darling Husband, but has on occasion mutated into an expletive I will not use here.

I know better than any deterrioration or mutation. Those folks have a polite & courteous house.

That is what I do when wearing a T-shirt, only with my cell phone. Cell phone at 2:00 and IWB at 3:00 with T-shirt between cell phone and pants.JLaw wrote:Tip: when carring IWB, I keep a Buck 110 folder in it's factory sheath at the 4:00 - 4:30 position, then slip the bottom of the t-shirt behind the factory knife sheath...doing this creates a wrinkle "texture" in the t-shirt that makes any bulges or edges of the 908 completely disappear. It also allows you to access your folder without disclosing to the world that you're carrying.Venus Pax wrote:Have you considered IWB holster with an untucked t-shirt?
JLaw
Hawiian shirt is even easier.

Well.....O.K.
In 22 years of marriage she's never actually "said" it!
But there was a "mutation" (of sorts) about 10 years ago. My DW had undergone a total hysterectomy.. and it took about a year before the doctors found just the right dosage of estrogen patches. You really never knew what you were coming home to, God bless her. Hormones are strange things.

I got found out!!
I was talking to my neighbor yesterday. I was wearing a tighter-than-normal T-shirt. Suddenly he said "What do you have wrapped around your waist?" and reached out and put his hand right on the grips of my Para. I was watching his face. His eyes got very large, he uttered a weak "oh", and moved his hand away. I've been carrying IWB with a loose T-shirt for almost a year, now, and he had to touch the pistol to realize what it was. As far as I know, he is the only one to ever find me out. I have talked to him since, and I don't believe the subject will ever come up. I did not try to explain any thing to him.

I went to lunch after church with a friend on Sunday. Both our husbands were out of service and we sat together, so just decided to do lunch together.
I drove, and getting out of the car, I noticed my shirt had come up and my gun was exposed, plain as daylight. I quickly covered it, and said, "oops, I'm showing my feminine protection!" (I thought she had already seen it.)
She said, "What?"
I put her hand on my waist, and she said, "Why's it so hard?"
I finally had to just tell her.
She replied, "What do you need that thing for in the seafood place?"
I informed her that you never know what could happen in the seafood restaurant.

Hi everyone, I recieved my license about a week ago, so Im fairly new at
carrying. my normal attire consistes of jeans and large tee shirt or polo shirt .I carry a glock 19 in a fobus holster.Yesterday while loading up my truck at a flea market my shirt raised up above my glock. my wife saw it and said'' why do you have that with you?'' I told her that since I got my license I carry every day. she was very surprised. I was shocked that she hadnt even realized that Id been carrying. We are always Holding hands or walking together. It just made me feel more at ease about other people noticing If my own wife doesnt know.
