If Americans had "common sense" Obama wouldn't be president.

I must say I'm really surprised that he didn't call for executive action for some gun bans if congress wouldn't get anything done. Guns were the only reason I watched the address. He has to know what's going on in the law-abiding sector right now. We the people are arming ourselves like know ones business.

He would LOVE to ban through executive order, but was told before he signed the last batch that he had NO support in Congress, so the SCOTUS would overturn anything sniffing at the 2nd Ammendment. Reports say he was "livid", then was forced to dumb them down. He absolutely knows what's going on, which is why it's his ONLY agenda item now. He needs to get SOMETHING passed to allow him to turn the thugs and drones loose on the law-abiding conservatives who threaten his morally bankrupt clan. It's only a matter of time until his work to destroy the economy bears fruit, making it clear to EVERYONE what he's about, so he needs to get the guns before that happens. :patriot:

It's going to be a very long and very tiring four years.

Yes, it is...but this country survived other terrible things. We just can't give up, that is what they want us to do. Their evil will only triumph when good people do nothing, to paraphrase.

Amusing that we're now in the fifth year of Obama's term and "Blame Bush" is still prevalent. There's been more than enough time for appropriate "corrections" since Bush was in office. This administration is simply continuing with the 'bad agenda' laid out under Bush (think TSA, DHS, Patriot Act, and a whole host of other crap), and taken it to a whole new level. Obama's not half the leader he thinks he is.

haven't you heard? I believe it's been recently suggested that "thu wun's" administration has determined that all the ills they must correct actually started with the evil Ronald Reagan.
