Re: March 2014 Applications
What's left on your list? Mine is on the final background check. They sent me a letter asking for additional info; but, by the time I got the letter the site indicated they had the info they requested. I asked if everything was there and did I need to do anything else explaining about the received letter; the rep spoke to his supervisor and volunteered the license would be done and in my hands in a week or two. I think the response depends on what stage of the review your in.Cknox3 wrote:What exactly did u ask, I get a generic response of it could take 90 days

Re: March 2014 Applications
So your at 44 today. I looked the third time last Saturday when I was at 50 and that's when I knew it had updated either the previous Tuesday or Wednesday (day 46 or 47). If you sent everything in you'll probably notice an update late this week or sometime next week, then one to two weeks. Did you have any complications in the upload or mailing? If not it's just a time issue, grab a beer!Cknox3 wrote:I still have no update and I'll hit 50 days on Tuesday.
Re: March 2014 Applications
No issues on mine, received confirmation email within minutes of upload. Wife's on the other hand had to be email directly to the lady that sends the confirmation emails. My background check should be easy since I haven't even had a traffic ticket in 16 years. Already had one FBI background check for
My wife's security clearance. So hopefully soon I'll know something.

At day 52 background check cleared, "manufacturing pending"! So the one to two week schedule should keep as noted.

Re: March 2014 Applications
This morning the status showed 'mailed' - I'm hoping it could get there tomorrow or saturday but I'm not sure how likely that is.jdowpcs wrote:Now on 05/14 I'm showing 'Manufacturing' - if it mails today I wonder any chance of getting it by Friday or Saturday?jdowpcs wrote:As of 05/13 show background check completed, manufacturing pending. Should ship soon now, eh?jdowpcs wrote:Will go ahead and contribute my updates. For those of you wondering - I'm not sure if they're working on the weekends (with this backlog of apps they may be) I can confirm they do update statuses on the weekends. Last night (Saturday night) I still had the "Waiting on required documents message" whereas this morning I woke up to the first update;

Re: March 2014 Applications
I took my class in late January, but didn't get around to getting my fingerprints done (filed electronically by the the folks that took them) and my stuff mailed until early March. Then I waited almost 60 days before anything other than "we have received the application and are awaiting receipt of required materials" on my status check page. Then Monday of this week, it went from that to all steps complete and pending manufacture. Today it says it was mailed.
I think the office for this process is woefully understaffed if my materials sat around for two months before they even opened my envelope to tell me they got them so I wouldn't stress about whether they got lost in the mail or not. I called the help line a couple weeks ago and after waiting on hold for about 25 minutes, someone finally picked up and told me that it was normal to wait up to 60 days before the website would show that materials were received. That seems a little much to me. At least have some check box on the website that says, "We got your letter, we will process it in the order it was received," so people at least know their materials have arrived in the right place.
