I'm feeling mighty lonely about now. DPS hasn't invited me back yet. I wonder if it's something I said? :cryin

Surely it's just a product of the order they chose to send them.

Alphabetically? No
Date of certification? No

OK, maybe it's just you. :anamatedbanana

Actually, I felt the same after others got theirs while my mailbox was empty.

Maybe they've decided to weed out the troublemakers? :smilelol5:

where did you see the online test?

I agree with all... this is confusing, but I think we may all be moving faster than DPS can. I am sure they'll come through in the end.

I haven't gotten mine, either. At least I can say I'm in good company.

Yup! go here: http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/administra" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... orinfo.htm
"Online instructor renewal exam"

Use your instructor password, take the test, your score will appear at the end. It's sent to the proper DPS folks according to the web-page. If you don't pass the test you get two more tries.

Is this the same test they've been using? The same test we give the students?

I have an answer from DPS I'll post it as soon as I get home. Quick rundown don't. Need CHL-90

Ok just got home ....

Ok Here is what DPS sent me as a reply.....

Renewal Instructor are not required to complete a CHL-90. You may go online and complete the online test. The results are then forwarded to the division. We will then place your application in progress. We are not sure whether you are required to take proficiency, once we are notified we will let you know. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact the department at (800) 244-5744.
