Most of the body armor they were talking about was Class 4. I don't have an issue with someone obtaining class 4 armor but that stuff is heavy and bulky. If I were to own any, it would be a class 2 or 3 I think.

None of it is pleasant to wear in Texas heat.

From last night. . . after detailing that the law prevents BATFE from maintaining a database to reconcile gun serial numbers to purchasers and detailing that they have to go to the manufacturer, then to the wholeseller, then to the distributor, then to the FFL / storefront, then to the original purchaser in order to determine ownership. . .

BATFE Agent: Last year we did over 300,000 serial number lookups for criminal investigations.

I still feel the first two episodes were remarkably balanced. Much better than the similar attempt a while back where the BG made it a point to shoot the GG first, every time.

I suppose it was just too much to hope that an ABC affiliate would maintain that balanced approach.

to be fair i think much of the slant of the story is due to the reporter covering the section, brett shipp is a good reporter and his two segments appeared very balanced....then they went on to different reporters that seemed to twist it a little more

it would be more balanced if when the reporter discussed short barrel and full auto that they mention the length someone has to go through to get one and that the batfe has all their information PLUS a tax on the item.
You cant just walk out and buy a "machine gun" its very expensive and its registered.

I agree about the first two episodes. It sounds like it took a deep dive on the third one. I haven't seen it yet. Will use your link and check them out.

Wow. First two -- great. Balanced. The segment on safes wasn't bad either. Second two? I could barely get through. I didn't see the 5th one in that list of videos. Not too upset I'm missing it either.
