For tax purposes, In Texas, CC charges for such purchases are referred to as Sporting Goods.philip964 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 12:53 am https://news.yahoo.com/exclusive-discov ... 59650.html

You are correct sir. Bass Pro for example would be considered a “sporting goods store” however the credit card company would have no idea if you purchased $700.00 worth of fish bait or a gun, only that you shopped there. This is nothing but feel good legislation that does exactly nothing except make the anti gun politicians look like they’re doing something.Beiruty wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 7:19 amFor tax purposes, In Texas, CC charges for such purchases are referred to as Sporting Goods.philip964 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 12:53 am https://news.yahoo.com/exclusive-discov ... 59650.html

Re: Discover card to track gun purchases
Until they have itemized tracking of purchases, (they already have), shared and tracked, then 4th Amendment has been violated.Tex1961 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 9:08 amYou are correct sir.
