I was thinking that sending a full 12-pack with your prints on it might get the job done.

Re: Solution to fingerprint problem
I am curious if anyone missing a significant number of fingers has dealt with DPS on the fingerprint issues.
Re: Solution to fingerprint problem
Why, after your prints are initially recorded and you're issued your CHL, are they required ever again?
Would it be to prevent false applications?
Anyone actually know?

1. To make sure the person filing the renewal is the same as the original applicant.Abraham wrote:Why, after your prints are initially recorded and you're issued your CHL, are they required ever again?

2. To record any changes to the prints such as scars that may have happened since the last set was taken.
At least, this is the way it was explained to me.

I call (that word) on this one: It's just bureaucratic mumbo-jumbo.
At least, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Re: Solution to fingerprint problem
Using the Sherlock Holmes method, I conclude the requirement for prints for renewals is to discourage renewals.
