The benefits are you are helping support our voice into the legislators on D.C. And, the magazine(s) you get are not bad either.

Without the NRA this forum would not exsist, because there would not be a CHL program in Texas.

In addition to what is listed above:
$2,500.00 worth of firearms insurance coverage. I also believe you get $5,000.00 of accidental death insurance.
Plus right now you can take advantage of this deal:

I will file for unemployement. What I care about is the health coverage. I need it for my kids and myself. I am a Dialysis patient. It is good that I can file and I did for medicare. However, I still have to take care of my kids and wife health needs. I will elect for Cobra coverage. It cost some $20k per year!

Re: Benefits from joining NRA??
Barney Frank, the long-time super liberal anti-gun congressman from Massachusetts called the NRA the "most effective lobbying organization on Capitol Hill". Old "Chuck You" Schumer from New York -- who never met a gun he didn't want to ban -- has expressed similar sentiments when whining about the NRA.
That is good enough for me to keep sending the NRA my money.
Also, whenever purchasing firearms stuff, especially online, I always look for the NRA round up, like they have at MidwayUSA.

The NRA is all about you and your 2A RKBA. (It costs money, lots of it, to do what the NRA does for us.)
