Friend of mine got a gun stolen last night.

XD SubCompact 40. US158724

Lewisville PD has the report on it. Please contact them if you run across it.

That stinks! Was it in the house or a vehicle?
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Vehicle.

My buddy had a brain fart and left it in there. Was out of the norm, sucks.

Unfortunately, sometimes we have to leave it there. I don't at home, but some folks do.

I guess there were other things that were taken the police will also be watching for.

Won't stop a determined thief with time on his hands, but will definitely stop a smash-and-grab.

Yep! Got mine at Bass Pro for about $30.

Sorry about your friends stuff. I hope they find the gun before it can be used for something bad.
