How Do You Get Rid of Old Ammo?

#1

Post by Crash »

An elderly gentleman who is a neighbor of mine is moving to an assisted-living home and has to get rid of the ammo he has had stored in his attic (non-air conditioned/non-heated) for at least 15 years. What's the best way to get rid of it?

Thanks,

Crash

If it's not oxidized or corroded, shoot it. If it is, perhaps you can try to run it through a vibratory cleaner or hit it with some lanolin and isopropanol to clean it up, then shoot it. If you're unsure about it, I'll just take it off your hands and ensure it's properly disposed :biggrinjester:

There is no need to start another threading asking the same question.
