I did read in the news this morning that the gap between Paxton and Cornyn is narrowing. Cornyn's lead is down to about 5%. I suspect Paxton could pull ahead of Cornyn if he'd spiff up his marketing and public image.

Problem is, Cornyn sells well. I don't see Paxton doing anything competitive with this....

I use FB to keep up with some old friends, my high school class, etc. Now you can click on a post ("more....") or in your messages you get something like "So-and-so sent you a message..." and whammo, you get a total computer takeover - "your computer has been infected! Yeah, phpBB definitely has a setting where the forum owner has to approve new members before they can join in and post. Since we're not really approving many (if any at all), this would be a good way to stop them. Just a thought.

I hope we can get it under control. I was on a forum once that was completely destroyed by bots; some advertising bot selling cheap athletic shoes was making 50-100 posts a day, while the actual discussion normally only got 2 or 3 posts a day. The site finally had to shut down.
