Re: shield 9mm failure to eject
I probably have ~400 rounds of WWB thru my Shield 9mm without any issues. But a while back I realized that I had not ever fired my carry ammo (Hornady Critical Defense 115gr FTX). So I popped in the 7 rd magazine that has been loaded with the Hornady ammo for 6+ months. I racked the slide but the ...

Re: Another State Fair Visit & Thank You
As a follow up, yesterday I made my return trip to the fair.
I rode the DART rail down from Plano to meet my wife & daughter. The train was mostly empty when I got on so I was able to grab a seat that kept my right side to the wall. This was a good thing because by the time we reached the Pearl ...

Re: First Time Today!!!!!
Funny, encountered my first unexpected 3006 sign today and it was also at Time Warner Cable, this time in Plano. It is posted on Texas3006.com but I didn't even think to look.
Fortunately it was early and I parked where I could see the door (and notice the sign) before I got out. Even so, I drove ...

Another State Fair Visit & Thank You
My wife and I took a day off and went to the State Fair. We managed to go on Senior Day "again" and the lines to enter were pretty long even though we were there early.
I was a bit apprehensive as this would be my first time to carry at the fair. But I had read many of the threads on here. I ...

Re: Anybody else order a Crossbreed holster lately?
I received my Crossbreed SuperTuck this weekend. Mine is horsehide and for my S&W Shield 9mm.
I ordered it on 1/21 and it shipped on 3/14 or approximately 7 1/2 weeks. I was out of town so I don't know if it arrived on 3/15 or 3/16 but it was here when I got home on Sunday. :anamatedbanana

Re: Anybody else order a Crossbreed holster lately?
I ordered mine on Jan 21st.
I emailed them last week (about the 5 1/2 week mark) and got a quick response back. He said they were shipping orders from 1/12 and were running about 6 1/2 weeks on shipping with another 3 or 4 days to arrive once it is shipped.

Re: Broken Bow, Oklahoma *Updated*
Yes, I think so, although the trail map we picked up there referred to it as the Forest Heritage Center. But it did have a museum. And the totem pole.carlson1 wrote:Was the sign on the State Building the State Park office and museum in Beaver's Bend?

Re: Broken Bow, Oklahoma
Thanks for all the replies & PMs,
I will do some additional reading tonight. I am putting together a cheat sheet (and a conservative one at that).
It sure sounds like between the reservations and COE land, one definitely needs to know exactly where they stand, literally.
Looking forward to a fun ...

Broken Bow, Oklahoma *Updated*
Headed up to Broken Bow, OK for a weekend soon with a couple of other families. Two of us have our TX CHL but are still fairly new to CHL. I have a couple of questions.
I have tried to read thru the OK law and I will admit, reading that stuff makes my head hurt. I didn't see any significant ...
